SOR Retreat

The School of Rhetoric (SOR) Retreat for students will be held on Tuesday–Wednesday, November 11–12, 2025, at Wisma Shalom, Lembang. This is a mandatory event for all SOR students as it is an integral part of the curriculum. The theme of this year’s retreat is Authentic: Stand the Ground in a Wandering Generation. Through this retreat, we hope that students will be encouraged to build a firm foundation in God—the Author of life—even as the world continues to change.

On Tuesday morning, students will come to school as usual and depart from CBCS at 8:15 AM for Wisma Shalom. They will be dismissed from Wisma Shalom on Wednesday at 12:00 PM.

The school will provide transportation from CBCS to Lembang on November 11. For the return trip on November 12, parents may choose one of the following options:

  1. Pick up their child at CBCS at 2:45 PM (regular dismissal time).

  2. Pick up their child directly at Wisma Shalom, Lembang at 12:00 PM.

  3. Allow their child to go home with a friend or use public/online transportation.

Parents have completed and returned the transportation arrangement slip, and the school will follow the information provided.


Retreat SOR

Retreat School of Rhetoric (SOR) untuk siswa akan dilaksanakan pada Selasa–Rabu, 11–12 November 2025, di Wisma Shalom, Lembang. Kegiatan ini wajib diikuti oleh seluruh siswa SOR karena merupakan bagian dari kurikulum. Tema retreat tahun ini adalah Authentic: Stand the Ground in a Wandering Generation. Melalui kegiatan ini, kami berharap para siswa terdorong untuk membangun dasar iman yang teguh kepada Allah, Sang Penulis Kehidupan, meskipun dunia terus berubah.

Pada Selasa pagi, siswa akan datang ke sekolah seperti biasa dan berangkat dari CBCS menuju Wisma Shalom pada pukul 08.15 WIB. Siswa akan dipulangkan dari Wisma Shalom pada Rabu, pukul 12.00 WIB.

Sekolah akan menyediakan transportasi dari CBCS ke Lembang pada tanggal 11 November. Untuk kepulangan pada tanggal 12 November, orang tua dapat memilih salah satu dari opsi berikut:

  1. Menjemput anak di CBCS pukul 14.45 WIB (sesuai jam pulang sekolah).

  2. Menjemput anak langsung di Wisma Shalom, Lembang pukul 12.00 WIB.

  3. Mengizinkan anak pulang bersama teman atau menggunakan transportasi umum/online.

Orang tua telah mengisi dan mengembalikan formulir pengaturan transportasi, dan sekolah akan menyesuaikan sesuai informasi yang telah diberikan.
