Some of the goals of Christian education as stated in CBCS mission are to equip students with biblical worldview, while cultivating a love for Indonesia and inspiring a love for learning. It’s our dream that our students will become Christian leaders that stand up for the things they believe in. However, true leadership is not complete without intellectual acuity. Jesus himself instructed us to “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind” (Matthew 22:37).
It is with the intention of driving academic excellence even further that CBCS has instituted the Senior Thesis, a capstone project that all students must complete during their 12th grade year. This is an interdisciplinary research project lets where the students choose a topic to research and write their thesis paper in a scholarly manner. After an intensive year of work, the students present and defend their thesis before a panel of jury and in the audience of other students, faculties and parents.
